Cody Rhodes has announced that he has signed a new contract with WWE which is a long-term contract, extending beyond his 40th birthday. Despite signing this new contract, Cody Rhodes does not intend to wrestle for too much longer due to his responsibilities as a father.
Cody Rhodes, now 38, recognizes the importance of being present for his daughter as she grows up, citing his own experiences with his father, the late Dusty Rhodes. Dusty Rhodes as we know continued to wrestle into his later years.
Cody Rhodes acknowledges that while he may have hit his prime later in his career, he is mindful of his age and family commitments, indicating a desire to set away from wrestling before it becomes difficult to transition.
